This Privacy Policy provides information on how we process personal data collected through the TEAMNET website, including contact forms, demo request forms, and newsletter subscription forms.

1. Data Controller

Controller: TEAMNET, S.L.
Tax ID No. (CIF): B-85723476
Registered office: Calle Castelló, 64, 28001 Madrid, Spain
Email: info@teamnet.es

Hereinafter, “TEAMNET”.

2. What data we process

We may process the following categories of personal data:

  • Identification data: first name and surname(s).
  • Contact data: email address, telephone number, and company.
  • Professional data: job title, organisation, or information linked to professional activity, where provided.
  • Data contained in the message or request sent by the user.
  • Data related to newsletter or news subscriptions.
  • Any other data voluntarily provided by the user through the forms or by email.

Data submitted through the website forms is managed through the corporate account info@teamnet.es.

3. How we obtain your data

As a general rule, data is obtained from:

  • Website forms
  • Contact requests
  • Demo requests
  • Newsletter or news subscriptions
  • Emails sent directly to TEAMNET
  • Pre-contractual or contractual relationships

4. Purposes of processing

TEAMNET will process personal data for the following purposes:

4.1. Handling enquiries and contact requests

To manage requests for information, general enquiries, communications, or requests submitted through the website or by email.

4.2. Managing demo requests

To manage requests for demonstrations of TEAMNET products or services, coordinate commercial contact, prepare information sessions, and carry out follow-up related to the request.

4.3. Managing pre-contractual or contractual relationships

To handle commercial requests, prepare proposals, respond to requests related to TEAMNET solutions or services, and manage the professional or contractual relationship, where applicable.

4.4. Sending newsletters, news, and commercial communications

To send information about updates, content, news, solutions, services, events, or commercial communications related to TEAMNET, provided that the user has given their express consent or another valid legal basis exists in accordance with applicable regulations. The LSSI requires prior authorisation for promotional communications by email, except in very specific cases of prior relationship.

4.5. Compliance with legal obligations

To comply with the legal obligations applicable to TEAMNET.

4.6. Website security, maintenance, and improvement

To ensure the security, operation, technical maintenance, and improvement of the website.

5. Legal basis for processing

The legal bases that legitimise the processing are as follows:

  • Pre-contractual measures, where the user requests information or a demo.
  • Performance of a contract, where there is a contractual relationship with TEAMNET.
  • The data subject’s consent, in particular for:
    • Newsletter or news subscriptions.
    • Sending commercial communications by electronic means where necessary.
  • Compliance with legal obligations.
  • Legitimate interest, where legally applicable, for example in managing professional relationships with legal entities.

Where the legal basis is consent, it must be given through a clear affirmative act and may be withdrawn at any time. The Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) expressly states that consent cannot be presumed or inferred from silence or inactivity.

6. Whether providing data is mandatory

Data marked as mandatory in the forms will be necessary in order to properly deal with the user’s request.

If such data is not provided, TEAMNET may be unable to:

  • Respond to the enquiry
  • Manage the demo request
  • Process the newsletter subscription
  • Maintain the requested relationship

The user guarantees that the data provided is truthful, accurate, and up to date.

7. Data retention

Data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and, thereafter, for the legal periods that may be applicable.

As a general rule:

  • Enquiries and contact forms: for the time necessary to handle the request and for the subsequent period required to address any possible liabilities.
  • Demo requests: for the time necessary to manage the demo, carry out commercial follow-up, and, where applicable, maintain the pre-contractual relationship.
  • Newsletter and commercial communications: until the user withdraws consent or unsubscribes.
  • Contractual relationships: for the duration of the relationship and the applicable legal retention periods thereafter.

8. Recipients of the data

As a general rule, TEAMNET will not disclose personal data to third parties, except where required by law.

However, service providers acting as data processors and providing services to TEAMNET may have access to the data, for example:

  • Hosting or infrastructure providers
  • Corporate email providers
  • Technological support or maintenance providers
  • Commercial management or form tools, if implemented

TEAMNET will enter into the necessary agreements with such providers to ensure adequate processing of the data.

9. International transfers

As a general rule, TEAMNET will seek to use providers that offer adequate safeguards in accordance with the GDPR.

If, in the future, tools or services involving international data transfers are used, TEAMNET will provide appropriate information in this regard and apply the safeguards required by the applicable regulations. The GDPR requires adequate safeguards or a specific legal basis for transfers to third countries.

10. User rights

The user may exercise the following rights:

  • Access
  • Rectification
  • Erasure
  • Objection
  • Restriction of processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdrawal of consent at any time

11. How to exercise your rights

You may exercise your rights by sending a request to:

info@teamnet.es

The request must sufficiently identify the applicant and indicate the right they wish to exercise. TEAMNET may request additional information in order to verify identity where necessary.

Likewise, the user may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) if they consider that the processing does not comply with the applicable regulations.

12. Newsletter and opting out of communications

Where the user subscribes to the newsletter or agrees to receive commercial communications, TEAMNET may send news, content, updates, and communications related to its products and services.

The user may unsubscribe at any time:

  • By using the unsubscribe link included in each communication, where applicable.
